Purchased car new June 2016. My wife loved it. About 2000 miles it developed a beep beep beep noise like its behind the dash. This occurs at 60-65 mph. This equals approx. 1500 rpm. its not loud but very audible. The dealer attempted one repair with no success. We called 1800nissan1 for factory support. They offered no solutions but had us meet with local factory rep in San Antonio. We drove my car at indicated speeds, both noted the sound. Then we picked a new Rogue at random from dealers inventory. Drove same way, same sound. Rep then stated this is proof that the noise is inherent in the design and cannot be repaired. I took it as proof Nissan has a widespread defect in the Rogue. Please!, the factory that built the car cant repair it? It all comes down to money. If there are hundreds or thousands like this and a major component must be replaced like engine or transmission, then its cheaper to stonewall the issue. Vehicle Korean built.
